Apple Intelligence with a touch of Privacy

Apple’s new iOS 18.1, updates bring “Apple Intelligence”, a smart set of tools designed to make everyday tasks easier—all while keeping privacy top of mind.

These features include a new Clean Up tool in Photos to remove distractions from pictures, as well as Writing Tools that help polish, rewrite, or summarise text in apps like Mail and Notes.

Siri has also been upgraded to sound more conversational and can even remember your last conversation for more natural interactions.

Apple prioritises on-device processing for these tools, meaning your data stays on your phone or computer rather than being sent to the cloud.

This keeps personal information secure and reduces exposure to potential online threats.

Additionally, Apple has introduced an Apple Intelligence Privacy Report, letting users see and manage data usage details transparently.
